This is at best a 2-star hotel, definitely not four stars as advertised! The hotel is friendly, but certainly NOT LUXURIOUS. Service was spotty - twice they forgot to clean the room; and once the cleaner apparently left the door ajar, which we were shocked to discover when we returned in the evening. We stayed five nights - the last... More

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are used to, but this is an average hotel, and the rooms have nice furnishings, but are definitely not luxurious. The staff was friendly, however the breakfast was marginal and we got the run-around when we tried to use our credit card to pay (yes, i know it IS Greece)

We stayed at Dias Hotel three nights in November 2011. I have only good memories from this experience. For what we paid (60e/night) this hotel was perfect. Room was huge (we stayed at Ermis) very well decorated, clean, very comfortable bed and a tiny balcony which i didn't use due to the weather. Room was warm, not any a/c issue.... More

We were here 4 nights in the Athina Room. Beautiful mini-suite, very luxurious feeling! We had windows on two sides & very comfortable bed! Breakfast was included & it was WONDERFUL! Really good yogurt, & fresh, homemade pastries, along with eggs, ham, cheese, bread, & more. The hotel is right across from the entrance to the walk up to Palmidi... More

Rooms: spacious and cleaned daily. No noise issues and aircon as well as other room facilities were all working as expected. Hotel has been decorated to a good standard and is kept and maintained well by the family that runs it. Breakfast: star quality. All breakfast cakes were baked in the hotel by the owner who happens to be a... More

Had one night at the Dias hotel an our way back to Athens. We had a very warm welcome from the owners who offered to carry our bags to our room (no lift as a very old traditional house). The rooms are beautifully furnished and very in keeping with the style of the house. We had a very large room... More

We stayed here for 3 night. Came across it "by accident" walking streetwise. Very good location in the middle of everything. Calm side-street. But be aware that the church-bell will wake yu up at 7PM. The room was spacious, and so wlere the bathroom. Even with a jacuzzi. I rate cleanliness a litte a little low becauce of the carpets.... This is a wonderful small hotel in a perfect location. Most of the places to stay in 'Old Town" are smaller hotels and this has got to be one of the best. Location could not be better, staff could not be more accomodating and welcoming. Our room, Poseidon, was large, clean and fully equipped. The bathroom was redone and spotless.... More

I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Nafplion, and when the time came to to leave, I hated to go. The hotel is small and charming, in a great location looking up at the fort. The owner, Maria, is warm and friendly, and the manager speaks excellent English. When I came down to breakfast the first day, another American family... More
