Beautiful place to stay! Rooms are huge (really an apartment) with all necessities; you can easily make your own meals. Peaceful pool and patio area. The pool was great after a hot day of site seeing. Our room was on the main floor with balcony looking right on the sea for spectacular sunsets! Clean and our hostess had fresh cookies... More

An incredibly nice place to stay. Found almost by mistake, turned out as a discovery of warm and kind welcome by the owners, superb views, amazing rooms and perfect service. Our party of 6 stayed 2 nights at the Liakoto. Our hosts Geraldine and Elia were delightful and extremely helpful. The suite is set up for self catering if that is your preference and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything here was appealing: the location (and the magnificent sunset views from the balcony), the owners (a VERY pleasant couple who taught us a few things and made a few recommendations in just a matter of moments), the rooms, and the price (VERY reasonable at the start of the off season.) Marvellous relaxing base. Enjoy the beach. Walk into the hills. Sample the village tavernas. Laze by the pool. And what views from the balconies! Very nice small bakery and shop for breakfast. Yet again we had a fabulous 2 week holiday in September - this time trying Liakoto rather than Anniska. After getting over our feelings of disloyalty we loved the newer hotel - generous rooms, great balconies, lovely pool area and a that real feeling of calm peacefulness.
