This is a beautiful building in a wonderful setting with great history, fantastic grounds and an amazing view. But what really sets this apart in comparison to many hotels in France is that it also has comfortable beds, good bathrooms, delicious breakfast and charming, welcoming and helpful hosts. Worth every penny and strongly recommended.

Stayed at the Palais Briau in late August. The chateau has been meticulously renovated by the owners, who are extremely welcoming and a great source of information on the area.
