Hotel Cristallago has a great relaxed family atmosphere. The staff were super friendly as was the Japanese Akita "Kira". The rooms were simple but clean, beds comfortable. We had our teenage son in the room with us, which was a little bit of a squeeze, so more cupboard room or a drying room would have been appreciated, after a wet days skiing, but the service was impeccable nonetheless. Breakfast was a simple affair but well presented and tasty. Dinners are local, simple and traditional and clearly they have an Italian cook, as everything is superb. It may not be a five star hotel, but you will go a long way to find a family that do everything simple, but simply perfect in every way. Our exchange rate in not very favourable at present and yet we still found excellent value for money. Ski slopes and bus/shuttles are all close by, as is shopping & restaurants. Even the -7 chill couldn't dampen our spirits. more
