Stayed here one night in october 2011 after having travelled around in Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur etc. By arrival the hotel seemed magnificent and majestic - from afar. But a closer look revealed that this hotel is nothing but a mere copy of a palace - and it looks more like someone tried to build a concrete palace in a hurry,... More

The hotel needs a major refurbishment. The furniture in the rooms is old and tired. The beds were basic. The curtains in the bedroom were poor because they didn't cover the window and were quite flimsy. We realised that the sun would shine directly into the bedroom in the early morning so we hung a blanket over the window -... More

Comfortable rooms and good sleep. Staff polite but lacking the sparkle and friendliness of other hotels in Rajasthan. Some guests hustled out of their rooms by over-officious room checks on the morning of departure. Restaurant very average. Food good but choice limited.

I happened to stay in this hotel from 26th and 27th of november and following was my experience. Very honestly if you are not a guest from outside India dont even bother staying here because you wouldnt even get the basic things which you look for when you stay in a hotel. In the morning i called room service for... More

The Jagat Singh Palace Hotel was so bad I walked out after three hours, forfeiting two days prepaid accommodation. Beds impossibly hard, no English language TV stations, no internet access, broken air conditioner, broken telephone, squeaky overhead fan, overcrowded swimming pool area, no alcohol or meat served, staffs’ attitude ranges from indifferent to just plain rude, too far out of... This hotel was a good 700 or so metres from the centre along a dusty ,busy road .The rooms where comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the fields, but as all the action is around the lake this is where its preferable to stay. The matteresses on the beds are thin and very hard, not a good nights sleep. The pool is large but... Pushkar was not in our initial trip plan. We went to a local agency who recommended us the city and this hotel. We stayed just one night and I can say it was too long for what we did there. Given a previous awful experience in Delhi, we were looking for a clean and quiet room within an hotel with... More

The hotel would appear to be quite nice, a grand building with large rooms. But if you are a girl travelling alone be warned you might get more attention than you bargained for or not enough! I was taken to my room by a chap who felt it was acceptable to keep putting his hands on me. When it came... More

After staying in a number of heritage hotels with dodgy plumbing, enduring grime, and no tv or high speed internet, this place was a bit of a relief. Our room was huge with three large single beds (hard, but we'd got used to that), a tv, and fan, and was very clean. The decor was ok - given that the... More

I would say to tourists that unless your are a Hindu I would AVOID this town. The whole trip to Pushkar was disappointing, including this hotel. If you dont want to get ripped off by hotel prices/food prices, and so called "holy men" then divert elsewhere. They wanted payment in full when we checked in. I have never experienced that.... More
