This hotel was delightful in a quirky way, and was what I expected more of the hotels in India to be like. It had friendly staff, the room was a good size and clean, the bed rather firm, which we didn't mind, but some might. The shower was fantastic, I think the best of all the hotels. It was certainly... Very dated hotel and rooms very basic but the view is incredible! Was part of a package so not sure what we paid but dont pay a fortune. Good location, room 405 was clean and great view. Breakfast was the worst I have had so far but we are on the off season. I did expect better than a few... More

Having read some reviews, there was slight trepidation before our arrival. As it turned out my worst fears were totally unfounded and I wonder what has happened to others to create such bad impressions. We were on the top floor so had fantastic lake views and clear sight of the hill-top Savritri and Gayatri Temples. The bed- and bathrooms were... More

Our room was beautiful - really a throw back to the British era in India. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Our bed was very uncomfortable and the breakfast was not as good as other comparable hotels in the state.

OK, its a Heritage Palace, so no pool, downstairs restaurant is in three rooms, but the rooms were large and comfortable, some with excellent views (exquisite for sunset). We ate (alone) on the large rooftop restaurant and the food was actually very good. Why nobody else went there I do not know. We found the staff very helpful. I would... More

It's not what it was 25 years ago, today it's a tourists trap and nothing more, then I guess is as good as any but it ain't good. It's location is its only saving grace. We stayed in the suite but frankly it made little difference to the comfort. The bed was like a stone slab, the room was cold... More

The hotel was ok, but we were expecting more for the price we paid. Staff was not really helpful (and we couldn't really find them sometimes). The room was large, but we found a little disturbing that the curtains were "transparent" and anyone could actually see us from outside the room at any time. The bathroom was ok, clean and... More

The big plus about this hotel is its LOCATION: from the hotel you have a superb view of the ghats, which is the main -if not only- reason why tourists go to Pushkar. You can go all the way to the roof terrace, from where you can take great pictures without being disturbed by pushy (fake) priests, beggars and the... More

I'm not expecting much as it is not a top end hotel, but it meets all the basic requirements for the traveler to the camel fair. first, it's clean, that's important. the bathroom is adequate. Secondly, service and staff were good. The food is the basic, or maybe because no meat was served during the time I visited - a... More

We visited Pushkar with our family at the time of Pushkar mela (fair) & the room rates were pretty high as they attract a lot of tourists during that period. This is certainly the best time to visit Pushkar. We had a 2 nights stay at Pushkar palace. The hotel is situated just across the Pushkar lake. The rooms were... More
