The owner is very friendly. Our room was clean and very big. We had some excellent masala tea there. The marble flooring made the room a little too cold in December, but it should be nice to have in the hotter months. Rooms are basic but clean and the bathroom worked including a hot shower. Good clean budget hotel in central location with a warm welcome, helpful & obliging owner (Mr Vinod) and plenty of hot water. Comfy bed with extra blankets / quilt provided (it was chilly in the evenings) and under developed sunny terrace with great views of the palace and river. Close to Didi's cafe, which does great fresh coffee and porridge.

We only stayed here one night on the way to Khajuraho, and it was fine. The bed was a bit old, the mattress worn, but the room was spacious and clean.
