When we first checked into theis hotel I was alittle wary. The beds were quite hard and there was the biggest spider I had ever seen living behid the toilet pan. After three days though, I left having warmed to the place if not the spider. The garden restuarant is lovely but take plenty of Deet. The views acrss the... More

Rupmati undoubtedly has an amazing view over the plain as it is located at the cliff.. and if that's all that you care about.. it won't disappoint you. But if you are also looking for cleanliness, good sleep, decent food and service, stay away from this hotel. very dirty rooms with poor maintenance. shabby bathrooms, slow service and pathetic food.

The view is good no doubt, but the hotel has done nothing to create it,,right? All that they could do, they've totally screwed up. Very bad bathrooms, hanging wires, smelly bed sheets, oily food,,the list goes on and on. We took the best available rooms, still suffered. All the other resorts were full, so we had no option other than... More

The hotel is located directly at the cliff of the high plateau of Mandu with an amazing view over the plain. The whole area is very green with a lot of trees, flowers, etc. The hotel has a big lawn. There you can eat or just relax. The restaurant of the rupmati hotel serves delicous food. It was the best... More

Raunchy and smelly rooms, peripheric location (the sights are far from here), the dining hall is dirty. The bathrooms are basic. I changed my room after the first night, but the second, and more expensive one wasn't more better. But the garden is nice and the panorama is beautiful.

The choices in the tiny town of Mandu are quite limited - two grotty but cheap budget places and a couple of mid-range. The hotel is about a 15-20 min walk from the village centre, and overlooks a valley. There's a ruin right opposite, and lots of birdlife in the gardens and drinking from the air-coolers. They've got great views... More

Although they were expecting me, the dark and dingy room had several mattresses and other debris stored in the room. Bad lighting if one likes to read. Although I'd prepaid, I wasn't going to spend my three nights here and found another hotel within the hour.

The hotel has a nice garden with a big baobab and a ruin. From here you have a excellent view over Mandu valley. The room is basic but okay, but the bathroom needs a better cleaning. You can hire cars for visiting Maheshwar ( 70 km ).. Ahilya Fort or Dhar, the site of Hoshang Shah Dynasty.
