I have only seen bungalows and tents at Malwa Resort. The bungalows looked nice and clean and I cannot imagine they are dirty as some reviews suggest or where the dirty rooms would be located. I stayed in a tent which was large and clean. But inside was a bit depressing because there is no natural light and the electric... More

If you looking to book a hotel online for Mandu trip then MP tourism is the best option, because no other hotel of Mandu provides online booking. I found the hotel under my budget so preferred to stay there. This hotel is located near a lake. As like other MP Tourism hotels this hotel is also surrounded by greenery ,... More

Accommodation options are limited in Mandu. This probably not for those on a shoestring budget, but it won't break the bank either. As it's an MP Tourism property, you expect certain minimum standards, which were all met, even if was lacking in character that only family-run places can provide. We had a basic room, which also had a "living room"... More

Went there in Dec 2011. It is better to spend a night in Mandu to view the 4-5 historical locations and the fossil park. Better to come through Agra Bombay road, can be clubbed with Maheswar. This is one of the two MP tourism resorts in Mandu. Nice AC tents and AC cottages - clean. There is a small pool... More

We spend some time in the resort in December 2011; it is well located close to the Mandu attraction. The resort is clean and comfortable and located in a picture perfect green environment. The restaurant has decent Indian food. The resort can do controlling the Langur’s who frequent the lake facing rooms.

Your options in Mandu are very limited and this may be the best one. The only nice rooms are the "AC Tents".... there are only a few of these (they were built less than a year ago and are clean, and nicely furnished). The regular AC rooms are the worst and are quite run-down and dirty. The cheaper non-AC rooms... More

We went to Mandu in December, 2010. As Mandu is not so big place so were worried about food and our stay. We got our booking done well before time. Malwa resort is perfectly located with all the visiting places very near. I will give 5/5 to this hotel for food. We had my mother in law with us, she... More

I stayed in October for 2 nights in the Malwa Resort. The location is excellent - overlooking a valley with a large lake at the back. I took air-cooler rooms as the a/c ones were not available. The rooms were reasonably clean and well maintained, the staff polite and service good. Simple, tasty North India fare - both veg and... More

This is a nice, peaceful place to stay when visiting Mandu. It is about 3km to the center of town. I had room/cottage 118 which has a uninterrupted view of the lake. Rooms 114 and 116 also have good, direct lake views. You can request a table and chairs to use on your patio, along with room service. Tip well,... More
