Went there in Dec 2011. It is better to spend a night in Mandu to view the 4-5 historical locations and the fossil park. Better to come through Agra Bombay road, can be clubbed with Maheswar. We spend some time in the resort in December 2011; it is well located close to the Mandu attraction. The resort is clean and comfortable and located in a picture perfect green environment. The restaurant has decent Indian food. The resort can do controlling the Langur’s who frequent the lake facing rooms.

Your options in Mandu are very limited and this may be the best one. This is a nice, peaceful place to stay when visiting Mandu. It is about 3km to the center of town. I had room/cottage 118 which has a uninterrupted view of the lake. didn't stay here, but ahd breakfast and lunch several days and inspected rooms. lovely location, perfect for breakfast after visiting sites by bicycle. great food, surprisingly no more expensive than other less swanky places in town. small clean pool, nice bungalows
