“A palace in rural India”

Been there 2 nights, in a beautiful suite...don't expect the staff to speak english, but everybody is friendly and helpful...so, no problem The suites are welle restored, stay silple in a good way, the place is quiet and peaceful, Mandu and Dhar so attractive..just go and enjoy indian hospitality with vegetables from the garden and milk from their dairy..

The reviews of this property are misleading. First of all it is not in Mandu, it is located in Dhar plains, a good 1 hr away. It is at best a guest house and not a hotel as there are no activities - just large rooms with high ceiling. The swimming pool is under construction (as of Dec 2011) and... More

A few Kms short of Mandu, this hotel is nestled in acres of lush green medows.......The Hotel is an ancient haveli of indo british architecture. It is an art deco building with huge suites.......This is a place you come for an experience of the lifestyle of the rich of the Raj era. Local residents of the nearby areas are there... More
