Lots of perks: people were friendly, views great, food good, rooms clean and comfortable, easy access to gorilla trekking, bottomless coffee (that was not instant!) available anytime, eco-friendly, etc. The only drawback was that the bathrooms were a fair ways from some of the rooms and the nighttime walks were cold! Bring warm clothes. It gets chilly up here!

We walked there from Buhoma (and spotted a few Gorillas on the track) and it was like coming home, so welcoming and warm were the staff and people of this community.
