The twin beds were clean and comfortable but even had the windows been clean, we would not have seen much beyond a giant inflatable castle and a busy road from our cheaply furnished, curtainless (therefore acoustically garage-like) room on the ground floor front . The pub was so packed with sports fans late afternoon that we had to drive around... More

“A great base to view the Cape”

The Southern Right Hotel was an excelent B&B and base for touring the Western Cape. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The restaurant was very good for all meals and the breakfast set you upo very well for a days site seeing. I would definitely recomend this hotel.

This place was overpriced compared to the other places that we stayed in south africa. ZAR 650 (~ $90) for two people including breakfast, which was our walk-in rate. Our room faced the ocean but there is a busy road and train track between you and the sea so its not exactly beach front, and though they provide beach umbrellas... More

We stayed here in March 2007 for two nights. The rooms are a little basic but clean and fresh, no TV but tea and coffee were provided.
