Now called La Maison. Overall a great place to stay when visiting Petra. Close to the entrance, clean and comfortable. Do not expect decent views even from the roof gallery. To much uncoordinated building has gone on around it.. It is used by hungry tour groups who devour the buffet which is not topped up properly

Recently spent 1 night here. The location is within easy walking distance to the Petra entrance - that's what originally attracted us - and the price. I stayed here as part of the Explore group trip round Joran and it has to be said it was a brilliant hotel for our stay. Admitadly our tour leader did say it was a bit like 'Fawlty Towers' a few weeks ago (hence the bad reviews), but it's changed hands and they really seem to have got things right.... More

The hotel was not well maintained and didn't seem clean enough to me, Although it is well located and quite close to Petra and although the staff was friendly, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. They should really make an effort to maintain and renovate it.

Although they have renovation in process, the staff was reall amazing and helpfull, the room was nice and comfortable....the price was valuable we had a pleasent time

Only the location is great. That hotel is awful and the breakfast is like a joke, nothing is really served. I cannot believe that hotel has stars. TERRIBLE! Fortunately I have stayed 1 night only!

Petra in itself is worth staying in almost any kind of place. The Petra Inn is one of the closer ones to the entrance (you can walk there easily) of the site. I agreed with the other reviews, everything was very dirty. Even the plates, the forks... at breakfast were greasy. I had to wash them myself before using them.
