We arrived at the Petra Marriott after a LONG day waiting to catch a ferry from Egypt. I am so glad we picked this hotel because it was just what we needed to be clean and comfortable and feel human again. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was great, and so was the food. We ordered room service and... more

Very nice and cosy hotel, very friendly staff, great pool area. It feels like a small hotel, which is perfect for this area of the country. Petra is wonderful, definitely go there! more

We had the worst experience at this hotel - particularly given we were paying 5 star prices. No one person helped carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff at front office was very rude and no one speak English. Especially the front desk manager was very rude and he made us feel very uncomfortably with his insistence glance (looked... more

About a 10 min. drive from the parking lot to the trail to Petra. Large groups do stay here so at times the service can be slow. more

On the negative side the bathroom was dirty and the room was not very clean too. The buffet was not so good, cold, almost any choice and they have... more

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott Petra for three nights and loved every minute of it. When we arrived (around dinner time) there were three people in the lobby to greet us and help us with check in. They were extremely helpful, spoke great English, and quickly helped us with our bags to the room. The room was... more
