I stayed at this hotel with a friend for two nights. It is very basic and nothing special with regards to the hotel itself. The location has plus as well as negative. The plus is that the view from the hotel is beautiful especially the sunsets. On the negative side - it is far from the center of Wadi Moussa... More

The views from the bar area during sunset really are incredible. These really made the stay worth while for me. However the hotel really is quite a way away from Petra itself. The hotel provide a bus down in the mornings but you have to find your own way back up (the hotel is at the top of a BIG... More

We stayed overnight on 24th January in Petra at the Marriot which had been booked for us by our travel agent in Sharm el Sheikh. Our first choice hotel the Crowne Paza was closed for renovations. The Marriot has a fantastic location on the hill above Wadi Musa and Petra and you can see the hotel from some parts of... More

It was nice staying at this Hotel. As usually Marriott offers wide, soft and comfortable beds, along with it's endless pillow selection. But the view is what the Hotel really exceeds when compared to the other known hotels around. It is dazzling to wake up and have breakfast facing the beautiful hills and mountains of Petra. I also experienced the... More

Stayed 2 nights at this location and found it very enjoyable. Room had a great view of the mountains surrounding Petra. Ate at the Italian restaurant which was fine. Location is about 5km from the entrance to Petra which was OK as we had a car. Staff was friendly and helpful. More

The hotel is in the "hotel area" which is about 5 kms away from Petra entrance and on top of a hill. Considerably cheaper than Movenpick Petra which is right at the entrance to Petra. The hotel has seen better days but the stay was comfortable enough. The views are excellent but unfortunately, since it is an old hotel, the... More

It is a 5 stars hotel but level is getting 4 stars and with doubts. Room is OK, service is not really Ok, i think they have treated the tourist too much years and now they don't still working properly. Views are OK, and cleaning is OK. They have a spa really poor. In general is OK to relax and... More

Marriott hotels are usually a sure sign of quality, but this hotel takes it one step further. I took a quick side-trip here on a weekend because I needed a break from my business in Israel, and Israel can be crazy during national holidays. This hotel was incredible, and for a Marriott it was very reasonably priced. The hotel staff... More

We stayed here for three nights and the room, staff and food were very nice. Staff were very helpful with everything - we found this typical of the Jordanian people actually on our whole trip there. It gives great views of the landscape of the environs of Petra and is close to the places you want to visit. More

This hotel met, but did not exceed, my expectations. We arrived relatively late at night after driving down from Amman. It was extremely windy outside and there was nobody manning the gate to the parking area at the time so we parked along the side of the road so we could go check in. The check-in clerk was very friendly... More
