Great B&B at an excellent price. Room was very nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful. Solid breakfast and a good value packed lunch to take in to Petra. It's a bit of a distance from the entrance to the Petra site but it lays on free transport there and back. Dinner was just a 5-10 minute walk... More

First of all let's remember that we are speaking not about the hotel but about B&B. And this B&B is not expensive at all. By my own experience the hotels in Wadi Musa are approximately 1.5 times more expensive comparing to Amman so I would even treat this B&B as cheap one. So if you're on tight budget than this... More

Have to respond to this, as we work hard to ensure our guests are comfortable. 1. The photos are actually taken from the two communal front balconies that are open (and are still open) for anyone to sit on. The rooftop terrace is currently being transformed into a restaurant because without a roof and sides it is too cold, too... More

I loved my stay at Rocky Mountain. The staff were all so helpful & friendly. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a good location to reach Petra, I would definately recommend. Anythin you are unsure of about your time in Petra the staff area always willing to help. :)))

Great budget hotel. We'd booked 2 side by side rooms double/triple for 2 adults/3children. When we arrived the owner explained they were having plumbing issues with one of the rooms, so she'd put the 5 of us in one large room. It would have been nice to have the extra space and 2nd bathroom, but she reduced the price so... More

My friend and I stayed in the Rocky Mountain Hotel for 2 nights in February 2012. We both had single ensuite rooms which were spacious, very clean, warm and comfortable. My room on the ground floor also had fast broadband and both rooms had sattelite Tv's. Hot water was always available, and free tea and coffee 24/7. Atef, one of... More

Before you read the critical elements of this review, realize that I liked my stay at Rocky Mountain enough that I would stay there again if I went back to Wadi Musa. Atef is a charismatic and tireless host and his presence alone makes the hotel a compelling place to stay. That said, realize that this is a very modest... More

First of all, I am glad that you would come back and stay with us again. Why I am responding is because I would like Trip Advisor readers to understand what we are: we are a small, budget, family run bed and breakfast. We are very non-corporate and have no claim to be a 1 or 2 star hotel. We... More

We stayed there for 2 nights and had a rather pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were quite small, but thankfully well heated. The hot water was slightly capricious, but it worked in the end. The wifi connection in the reception was very good. Breakfast was good. It is a 10-min walk to... More

Stayed one night in September last year, before going to Petra following morning. It was a bit hard to find based on the directions I had, so I was driving around town of Petra for a little while. After I phoned the hotel, managed to find them easily. Parking available right outside. Stayed in a nice single en-suite room for... More

Impulsively I hitched a ride down from Amman to Petra with three other backpackers in a taxi and luckily for me it's very quiet in winter and I had no problem finding a room at the Rocky Mountain. Perched high on the hill overlooking Petra, it isnt within walking distance to the city centre or the park, but they offer... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Rocky Mountain hotel. Rooms were cosy with a great view. Very close to Petra. Good breakfast. Jane was very kind and helpful and always happy to arrange trips or other hotel stays. We did have a slight electricity issue during our stay, however Jane swiftly took care of it and gave us a discount... More
