New building, with a sun deck!!! Amazing breakfast with home made bread and jam. The very staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have maps of the area and can give you info for a walking tour. They even let people use towel for free if needed it.

Would recommend this as it is impecably clean, comfortable (both dorms and doubles, we had the attic room which was so cosy!) and homely. The kitchen is large and really well equiped and you can relax at the wooden Germanic tables and in the lounge by the fire. Excellent, relaxing choice, with great views of the coast.

The travel books (and some other reviewers here) tell you to move on to Castro and that there's not much to see or do in Ancud.
