This new lodge has everything a fisherman or woman would want. The rooms are terrific with a view of the river. The brown & rainbow trout are waiting for you just outside. The chef is really good with all organic ingredients. We are going back next month!

Claudio, Gaston and their team have put together an amazing recipe for success. Beautiful country, excellent accomodations, terrific food, and world class fishing. How can you go wrong? The two guides we used for most of our fly fishing expeditions (Alejandro and Ricardo) were a wealth of information and would be excellent for all skill levels. After a full day... More

The Andes, rivers, lodge and staff are amazing. It is truely an experience one will not forget. Going horseback riding in the Andes was breathtaking and Heather is a such a competent guide. Gaston Urrejola and his brother Claudio, the owners of Coyhaique River Lodge, take pride in taking their clients to different water every day. Seldom does any body of water see more than three or four days of pressure in the season. The guides, Ricardo Ellena and Alejandro Trepiana, speak good English and are adept with boats and are accomplished anglers.... More

I needed a break from my routine and chose Coyhaique River Lodge on recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed. I'm not a fisher -man -person and this was quite an adventure! I spent several days with a wonderful guide riding horses to bluffs overlooking pristine valleys. We rode through national parks past beautiful lakes and old campos to... More

This is my second year to visit the lodge.Every day was an adventure. Activities suggested by hosts included fabulous guided fishing, birding, horseback riding, Condor sighting, kayaks, mountain bikes, and trekking. For the less intrepid there are cooking classes, birding, and wool weaving. Your hosts are eager to accommodate any request. At the end of each day we were served... More

I recently stayed at the lodge with friends and had a fantastic experience. From the first night, we had very personal service from the owner Gaston. Gaston and his team went out of their way to make us very comfortable. This place is on the cutting edge. Gaston and his team have started with a fishing focused lodge and are... More
