Well, we stayed five nights at the Velero Beach Resort in Cabarete in early October. I must say that I've seen far better proclaimed 4-star hotels. We chose the hotel following the recommendations on the web. we were Surprised to discover that it's averge hotel and not like the review were. the pool area is poor, the roo, very clean but Require improvement in the design side. we recommend but for our Opinion it's not worth the price. more

Excellent hotel, right on the beach, accessible to many activities, restaurants, and nightlife. Our entire family had a blast..something for everyone. The Velero staff was incredible, wonderful service, friendliness and promptness. We can't wait to visit again! more
