I enjoy staying at comfortable, reasonably-priced hotels wherever I am, and this hotel surely fit the bill. It's right off the main road going into Cabarete from Puerto Plata, but it's set far enough back to where all the noise of the traffic doesn't disturb the peaceful experience at the hotel. Cabarete is noisy. We walked in Albatros and immediately we felt it was quiet. It is close to everything in Cabarete. No need for a car. more
