I wanted to explore the South of the country and relly I wasn´t disappointed, but it isn´t for the fussy, it is for the adventurers. The Hotel Loro Tuerto is ideally located, just a few minutes walking from everything. The staff is kind and helpful. My room was fresh and clean, and all the hotel has a truely unique atmosphere.... If you have a reason to visit Barahona then I would thoroughly recommend this hotel where my husband and I stayed for six nights. The town itself doesn't have much to offer but the Hotel Loro Tuerto is a lovely, tranquil oasis. The rooms are basic but clean and they all overlook a very attractive courtyard where you can sit... More

After visiting Barbados and Guada I discovered Barahona, and stayed for a week in Loro Tuerto. Bungalow 9 became my home in the Caribbean
