I traveled for three months in China and Thailand and I think that the Baan Tung Guest House probably had the best room I stayed in for the money paid. Other reviews have mentioned what are in the rooms so I won't repeat all that info. I stayed in Mae Sot for a couple nights en route to Umphang, which... More

I stayed at Baan Tung for just under a month. The prices are reasonable, rooms are very clean, staff friendly and knowledgeable, and location central. While I was at Baan Tung, it was fairly quiet with regular wireless internet access. Stalin, in the main office, is a phenomenal source of information and guidance and has excellent English. Getting to know... More

baan tung was a small village at one time, on the outskirts of mae sot but growth over the past 10 years or so means that it is now part of the 'city' of mae sot - yes, city, self governance - just like hua hin and phuket 'city' but not like in any other aspect - no sea and... More

The guest house and the stuff are really nice, but you have to stay on the second floor, otherwise you'll have to stay in a very dark and quite oppressive room. The rooms have everything you need, except perhaps light, they have a fridge, aircon, fan, wifi, desk, big bed... One disadvantage is the very noisy neighborhood, someone plays e-guitar... More

The rooms in Baan Tung GH are great - huge, well equipped (large refrigerator, TV with English channels, a desk etc.), and the location is good - on a quiet side street but very close to the popular Casa Mia restaurant and within walking distance from the day market. Staff is very nice as well.

The rooms at Baan Tung are great, especially on the second floor ! They are huge, with a big comfortable bed, a dresser, TV (the only English channels are Aljazeera and Fow News), a big refrigerator, a desk, a sitting area, fan and AC, and hot water ! The sheets and towels are very clean, and everyday there's 2 bottles... More

I stayed at Baan Tung Guest House for a week in Mae Sot with a colleague. The rooms are large, come equipped with a TV, fridge, and AC, and have a desk, sitting area, and a double bed. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. The guest house also has excellent, free wifi and bicycles are available... More

I have stayed here every other weekend for the past 3 months and have to say that I love it. The rooms are ridiculously spacious and come with a fridge, queen-size bed, nice linens, hot water, sitting area, and tv. The concierge guy is wonderfully attentive and friendly. If you need something done or have questions about the area, he... More

I stayed at Baan Tung for almost 2 months during my job for a local NGO. I got a huge, sunny room with aircon, a big fridge, TV, hot shower, free high-speed Wifi ... all this for a fair price. On some days I had to remind the cleaning stuff to come to my room but generally, everything was very... More
