I spent one night in this very hotel. The hostess is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is a problem but I did find a market nearby(right near the Mcdonalds) where you can find plenty a lot of local snacks. The breakfast is good considering the price. What stroke me about Balay de la Rama was its perfect location, just 1 hour flight from Manilla and in the middle of everything you need to see/do in Bicol, like 1 hour drive to whale shark watching or diving, 3 hours to Caramoan islands, 2 hours to the wake-board center and just next to the imposing Mayon volcano !... Thanks for your review. Our 3rd floor is about to finish soon. Offical opening should take place on 23d April! And for the coconut farm, I fully agree it is a must do expeience. I hope you had a plescent time in Bicol, with the Mount Mayon, the Whale Shark and Caramoan! More

Just 15 minutes away from the airport by tricycle and with a backyard view of Mayon Volcano. That's just one of the great things about staying in Balay dela Rama. Add to that the yummy breakfast, hospitality of the staff, and clean and up-to-date accomodations still Filipino-themed. Highly recommended!

Was there last March 9 - 12, got a deal at agoda.com. For what we paid we definitely got value for our money. Cable TV, hot and cold shower, strong WiFi, breakfast and its near the places you want to go to. Needed some needs, Jess and Jane went out of their way to get it for me. Definitely recommending... More

Stayed 2 days/nights here this month, mainly to see Mayon Volcano in all it's glory & a day trip to see the Butanding (Whale Sharks) in Donsol. The big room is BIG and everything is maintained properly. There's Wi-Fi and cable TV, and the house has a wonderful view of Mayon volcano. It's about 10 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes away from Mayon so it makes a great jump-off point for sightseeing in Albay. It's also located near a terminal for vans that go... More

Very nice stay, nice breakfast, big TV, Wi-fi, and an Xbox with loads of games. Close to the airport too. Friendly man brought us coffee and organised day trips around Legaspi for us. Didnt' stay for long but if we return to Legaspi we will certainly come back to Balay De la Rama.

Thanks a lot, hope to see you again! The day after you left we actually harvest the coconuts, the bananas and the cacao in our coconut farm. Fresh bananas and coconuts were available at the bed & breakfast... For the cacao we might wait a little bit more.... More

Didn't expect too much on the Hotel due to the price but when i arrived i'm so surprise that the place is cute, especially the room. Deluxe room is so big and the attendant is very accomodating and cute. :)
