I was looking for a place to stay in Tagaytay because a friend from overseas wanted to go to Caleruega and I thought it'll be best for us stay overnight in Tagaytay as we didn't want to be rushed with our itinerary. I came across Joaquin's Bed & Breakfast on Facebook and was sold on the eclectic, quirky, country-feel of... More

My husband booked a yellow room for Mother's Day with the family. It was drizzling when we arrived so three of the staff met us at the parking lot with their umbrellas and carried our stuff. We were guided at the frontdesk and were immediately checked in. Room was very nice, clean and peaceful. The bed and linen were so... More

We were looking for a nice & quiet place to relax and celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I came across with Joaquin's B&B over the internet and was mesmerized by the pictures. We booked a 1-night stay online using a credit card; overnight stay is around 3,500-3,800 with breakfast. We arrived early Sunday cloudy morning... perfect ambiance for our get-a-way. We... More

My family and i requested for an ocular inspection of the rooms of Joaquin's shortly before lunch yesterday. From the view-deck of the resto, we were led to a flight of stairs below, to what they refer as the "upper rooms". We were greeted by a musty odor along the corridor. The hotel attendant showed us two of the four... More

First thing I have to say, just because you book one of the mini-garden rooms (the best rooms because of the view in my opinion) doesn't mean that you will get the mini-garden rooms. I had booked the mini-garden room through their website and specifically asked for confirmation from a Joacquin representative (which I received). Much to my dissapointment, when... More

This little bed and breakfast was the highlight of our time in Tagaytay. The place has everything you need for a comfortable, memorable stay. The rooms are spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated, with rustic touches and calming colors. The four-poster canopied bed was an absolute delight: large and cozy with an excellent mattress and soft, soft covers. The bathroom had... More

Who wouldn't fall for this place? Me, I fell in love the first time I set my eyes on it. My mother asked me to look for a place to stay in Tagaytay that would be overlooking the Taal Volcano and then I traced the whole Aguinaldo Road for hotels that would match her requirement for my mother wanted to... Everything holds true for the good reviews other travelers have written here. What makes Joaquin's outstand other Tagaytay accommodations is its countryside-themed rooms. The canopy bed is what we loved the most, creating a serene and romantic mood, as it tempted us not to leave the room and simply stay in bed...all day/night long. The Taal view is simply beautiful.... More

My title sums it all up. This place is for those who want to have peace and quiet, and be able to relax away from the busy city life. Unlike other big hotels, I could say you'll have more privacy here. My wife and I loved the interior design of the room (if you like wood and old furniture, this... More
