I booked 2 nights in April 2013 at the Bagan Princess and expected a lot more than I got for 70 USD per night. Me and my friend checked-in around 18h, took a shower and went out to have dinner. The first impression was ok, the room looked nice. Wi-fi wasn't working, that was the first negative point, but that... More

The prices in Bagan have become unreasonable and that is the same with the Bagan Princess. We stayed 3nights at the Hotel in 3 different rooms. The Rooms are dirty and dusty. Wie slept the First Night in the cheaper Rooms ,but they are not worth the 50$ ( if you are taller than 1,90m, you will smash your head,because... More

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights 2nd week of Feb. The rooms are spacious, and at first appearance, nice. But, the flood of tourists has made the owner greedy. Really, except for things which absolutely had to work, nothing worked. So, there was a central light and the other light and even the bathroom light which worked, along with... More

I love the hotel ambiance although there are tons of things to be improved if you look closer into details. The jacuzzi looked great but the water was leaked from the faucet onto the floor when I tried and gave up later. I could see at night that even though you closed the blind in the Jacuzzi room, everything could... More

Stayed 4 nights. The superior rooms around the pool are the best. We firstly got shown a not so good room , on what looked like a helipad. When we complained they offered us the siperior room, but we had to pay another20 dollars. The rooms are large and the bathroom is good. Try to get a room away from... More

I love this hotel. I met with the owner, very nice and pleasant gentleman. Keep asking anything else he can help with your stay. Such a nice beautiful hotel, swimming pool with fish pond. Very reasonable price in that area , close to airport, different temples and pagoda. You can have horse car ride, can rent car, rent bike. Very... More

We checked in to our room (family room) - still can't understand why a family room? Herewith our points: 1. Room smelly 2. Shower on bathroom floor with hole in the wall for water to run of the bathroom floor 3. Bath paint chipped off 4. Breakfast - not good for consumption 5. Hotel dirty, common areas full of dust... This would certainly be a great place, and meet its official 2-star rating easily, if they could get a grip on maintaining their pool. In this desert area, a pool would certainly be inviting. When we arrived, the pool showed a bunch of clouds already and we decided to take a dip. It was a refresher, but did not look... More

I spend 2 nights at Bagan Princess Hotel in Oct 2012. We stayed in a triple room right in front of the swimming pool. The room was really nice, clean and well-equipped. Staff was nice and breakfast really tasty. WiFi quite weak, but that's normal all over Myanmar, so don't expect anything in this regard. Don't rent the bikes from... More
