The hotel has had extensive refurbishment, but retains its feel and looks. For the tariff it is exceptional value. Unfortunately, it still will not accept international credit cards and there is often a problem with English at the front desk. Chinese breakfast is available. Guo Tai is located in a beautiful part of Guiyang: a mix of old and new.

My second stay at the Guo Tai. It has been renovated and it is much more attractive than in May. Same great service, perfect location. The room price is excellent for travellers.

Excellent accommodation for the relatively low price. Central location in a busy, interesting precinct for the traveller. Good facilities in room. Friendly, efficient staff. Only downside was refusal to accept Mastercard for hotel tariff.
