This is such an incredibly beautiful property. We stayed here for 1 night before heading into the Ngorogoro Crater and my only regret is not staying longer. The Farm House has a large garden which they use to supply their kitchen - which means all the vegetables you eat are grown on the premises and delicious! It's also a working... More

Stayed at the Ngorongoro Farm House for 2 nights while visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. When I first heard about the Farm House, I didn't really know what to expect but once you get there, it is such a beautiful place. The service was excellent and there's a nice pool to relax in and cool off from the safari drive. The... More

What an amazing place to stay, rooms are HUGE and clean, with large comfortable beds and great showers. 15 minutes to the park gates and the grounds are breathtaking! We were also able to take advantage of the pool which was small but lovely. on the down side: The food was good - not excellent, and the coffee was very... More

We only stayed here one night on our safari and only wished we could have stayed longer. The room was so spacious and very comfortable with a lovely big shower and double sinks. There was a big dining area and the food was buffet. There was a good selection and the beer was cold so we were happy! The highlight... More

Good stuff: Beautiful property with gardens and rooms that are small cottages named for animals in swahili. We stayed in Punda Milia which is a zebra, and friends were in simba (guess!). There were nice animal touches in otherwise white rooms with a comfortable sitting area, and nice veranda with chairs. I see some complaints about the rooms but they... More

Absolutely breathtaking grounds, views, and room. We even had a fire built in our room one night and it was so romantic. Clean, good service, and un-freaking-believably good coffee. And they had martinis. Good ones. Which are really, really hard to find where I live. If it hadn't been such a long drive down to the crater, I would have... More

Lovely room, great food, lovely grounds, amazing coffee fresh from their coffee plantation. This was the favourite of the 8 lodges we stayed at. We haven't given 5 stars simply because it's not 5 stars as you get in europe or asia, and because there were a couple of times when the waitress cleared our plates when we still had... More

My wife considered Ngorongoro Farmhouse one of the highlights of our trip; I thought it fine but no better. Perhaps this was because she got a massage there and I didn't? Certainly, there's no more beautiful surrounding that one can imagine than Ngorongoro Farmhouse's. And the staff matches, generally -- except at the famous restaurant, where every plate was cleared... More

We stayed two nights at the Farm House as the basis of our visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. I believe the Farm House is the closest lodge to the Crater gate without staying on the rim itself and is significantly less expensive than the rim lodges. We wanted an early start to our Crater visit to beat the crowds and... More

We realy enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were large ,clean and comfortable we were lucky as we stayed in rooms close to the main building (simba and pundamilia) restaurant and food were good and the staff were very attentive An ideal hotel to stay at for Lake Manyara (about 20 mins drive) there are closer hotels and lodges for...
