We selected this hotel based on favourable internet ratings. Dreadful little place. Our room faced the dirty back alleys. The hotel is grubby and poorly maintained. The food was terrible. A strange odour lingered in the lobby which was dark and totally unappealing. The staff were disinterested and unhelpful . We were originally staying 2 nights, but didn't go back for the second night.

Central location, near shops and restaurants. Price was reasonable, and service was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was included and consisted of fresh fruits, toast, jam and eggs. Our only gripe is sometime the water pressure is very weak, especially at night. It's not too bad during the day.

This is by far the best of the budget hotels in Moshi. There are fancier places outside of the city center which are expensive and have swimming pools, but OSY is the best bang for your buck if you are looking for clean and comfortable at reasonable rates.
