Hotel is frequented by busses shuttling in tourists - with all the pros and cons that come with that. Staff usually speaks English, but all-inclusive trips means no or small tips for service personnel and associated limited interests in the welfare of the clients. Rooms are big though sparsely furnished, and at least ours were damp and smelled mouldy (surprising... More

we stayed one night. The hotel is very beautiful in the public areas such as pool, lobby, reception, bar etc. Food was ok not more than that. Room are big but bathroom looks old and needs major facelift. A shampoo in the room could have helped.

We really enjoyed this hotel in the desert. It is privately-owned and idiosyncratic in its presentation and the owner has furnished the public rooms with local arts and crafts. Rooms are perfectly adequate - washbasins are made from the fossil-filled marble quarried locally. You can see it in the factory just down the road. There's a lovely courtyard swimming pool... More

The Tizimi Hotel was quaint, cute, traditional and welcoming. There was a pool and a good bar area and plenty of seating in the interior courtyard. This hotel did feel like you really were in Morocco. The rooms at this time of the year understandably were chilly on arrival but the heating needs to turned on as soon as you... More

The hotel is said to be quaint, "Disney-like" in style but there's no comfort in that style. I was there Jan 23-25, 2012, the rooms had their thermostats set at 30degrees C, the rooms weren't even 50degrees F, when called about lack of heat I was told to put more clothes on. Already had a winter coat and gloves on.... More

We spent two nights at the Kasbah Tizimi as part of an organized tour. The hotel is magical, with hidden courtyards full of vegetation (even in winter!) and lovely rooms. The hot water temperature and pressure are a little wonky, but of no consequence. The rooms are charming, spacious and beautifully decorated. It was very cold when we were there,... More

This hotel was part of a tour and it was a great surprise! I felt like I was truly in Morocco with all the little idiosyncrasies being part of its charm! We were surprised by an upgrade to a suite that had the coolest bed complete with sheer drapery. The bathroom was an adventure, no shower and odd hardware, but... More

We stayed in a lot of hotels on our tour of Morocco - some really lux and some more along the line of an inexpensive highway hotel but of all the places we stayed, the Kasbah Tizimi was my favorite. Built to emulate a real kasbah with rooms situated around tiled courtyards overflowing with greenery and fountains, you feel like... More

What a great little spot. You know you're far from home, and I loved every minute. The staff were great, the grounds keeper took me to the roof of the Kasbah to show me that at night it's the best view of the stars. It's one of the coolest places we stayed at while in Morocco. The wifi worked great... More

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel on our hectic coach trip. Enjoyed lovely meals in the restaurant and liked the typically Moroccan feel of the place. Hotel had not been used for a while so was rather chilly. The paintwork on the bathroom ceiling decided to peel off over the two nights we occupied our room which caused us... More
