This is a 1st class luxury hotel. Very nice grounds. The room is great. Lots of wildlife in your backyard. Be sure to take a walk down to the lake to see giraffes and hippos. The bar is just stunning. The nicest hotel bar we saw during our 9 day trip in Kenya. The food in the restaurant is superb.... More

The amazing beasties you see here just outside your balcony is amazing. Monkeys, tick tick water buck, giraffe, zebra and more by the lake. The accommodation is nice and clean and staff friendly. Worth a couple of days stay.

We spent one night in April 12 as a part of the Safari package. The property is well located on the Lake Naivasha. There are plenty on animals around. Some of them came really close to the rooms. The guided walking tour to the lake (app 400 meters) was another great opportunity to see Giraffe, Hippos, Buffalo, antelopes, etc. as... More

Was here for two nights in March 2012. The ambiance of this place is really amazing, the structures are well done, wild animals (not dangerous ones) grazing just near the rooms and the lodge itself. The rooms are quite spacious however you can do something about the floor, it is not appealing at all. The rooms probably need some refurbishment... More

Unfortunately our night here coincided with a conference culminating in a disco until 12:30. You don't expect to hear Madonna and Michael Jackson blaring out in the wilds of Africa at midnight. We were offered a quiter room at 22:30 - too late to change rooms for just one night! Our room was very good with a lower seating area.... More

I hate to write a negative review as the staff were all so friendly and well-meaning. However, I would not recommend this lodge. Perhaps we were spoiled by the higher standards of other lodges during our trip, but I found this place dingy and a bit depressing. The good points: as I said, the friendly staff; I liked the waterbucks... More

Stayed back in April 2011 for 3 nights during our 21 day safari with Kensington tours. There are a lot of security staff around the front of the resort, comforting and worrying at the same time. I would not consider venturing outside the resort for a second unescorted. Check in was not good, staff talked primarily to our guide in... More

A lovely property with extensive grounds that are roamed by waterbuck, guinea fowl and giraffes. Rooms are clean and well appointed with large windows facing the grounds and the lake. Each room is housed in a detached block of 8 which makes them feel very private. Ate at the main dining rooms and the food was delicious and plentiful. There... More

Simba Lodge is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. The land is large and extensive. A complex/house hold about 8 rooms. Each room has beds, a t.v., a sofa and washrooms. The lighting inside the rooms is really good. The T.V. is a bit small but still okay as it has a few channels of DSTV.... More
