I will always remember my stay in this resort. The rooms are clean and the food excellent. The resort has a lively vibe and really wants to entertain its guests. Hakuna matata - no worries - is evident in the way gueats are treated. The resort offers many excursions to interesting places nearby. I highly recommend this resort. More

I don't even know where to start..we ATTEMPTED to stay at Sun n Sand in December 2011. We got there really early in the morning and were told to wait in the lobby for our room which would be ready in half an hour. We kept asking every half an hour and they kept telling us another 5-10 minutes. Finally... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in January 2011.We stayed all inclusive which on the face of it looked good value compared with the half board tariff. The first disappointment was the couldn't care less, surly attitude of the barstaff at the 'all inclusive bar' The drinks were 'thrown' into plastic glasses and, all but, thrown across... More

This was the best ever holiday and the hotel Sun N Sand was fabulous, brilliant staff and food was great. Location was beautiful overlooking the Indian Ocean and the Kikambala beach. Went to the Floating Restaurant in Mwapa Creek and it is fabulous, had lobster and champagne. More

We stayed here for two weeks in December last year, including Christmas. It was an almost last minute decision and one of the best we have made. Yes, the hotel is old and in need of a make-over, but it was just wonderful. Even though it was school holiday time it did not have an overcrowded feeling. The rooms are... More
