The setting is stunning, right on the banks of a 10km meteorite formed lake, with views of fishermen in their canoes from your bedroom window. The hotel is now used more as a conference centre and there weren’t many guests actually staying at the hotel. Eating outside may be romantic but the small flies and mosquitoes are fairly dense and... More

Should have known by the name we were headed for trouble. The road to Paradise was unpaved, deeply rutted, narrow, dusty, overgrown and steep. Two other guests were there, The other lodges remained empty. We ordered dinner and were advised it would be half an hour until served. Peckish but understanding, we waited. During this time the twenty or so... More

The hotel is fine. It is definitely not glamorous, but some of the reviews are surprisingly harsh. If you are used to simple accommodation, you will be fine here. Insects are definitely a problem, so bring netting with you. The rooms in the first two buildings closest to the reception are better kept up than those in the final building.... More

I have been here on a number of occasions and have written very positive reviews. Have seen some considerable improvements since June 2010, but my last visit in October this year will be my last. Formerly pleasant staff are now surly, and rude. Food which was such a strength (slow but good) is now so poor I could finish my... More

The grounds were very nice - lots of green grass up against a lake. From a distance the hotel looks nice....but the rooms were dirty. Bugs were overwhelming - even inside the rooms. Bathroom and shower was dirty - moldy. Beds and linens were dirty as well as the floors. Would not stay here again - but would swing by... More

Didn't stay here, but ate lunch and food was really good. Expensive though; 35GHC for the buffet. Their online contact info that pops up with google is wrong. Here's the correct info: 0322095803, 0207364706, 0205275724, info@paradiseresortlakebosomtwe.com, www.paradiseresortlakebosomtwe.com . Also an awful, awful road to get there. Good food though.

Hi there, the hotel is one of the best locations in the whole of the country for sure, great food, superbe service and all but what made our stay there really good is the horse-ride that the hotel arranged for us with the Green Ranch, just 2,5 km from Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort : a must-do activity while at the... Friendly and most helpful staff. Travelled from Volta Hotel. The long trip was well worth it. Good food and very cold drinks! Beware the road (if you can call it that) toll on holiday times - 5 cedis each. Quite a bit when there were 15 in our group. Absolutely stunning location. Make sure to take the boat ride and... More

Stayed here a couple of times en-route to Mole NP and it is a great way to unwind. Not an urban hotel so you need to accept limited choices but the staff will do all they can to help make your stay comfortable. Main activities focus on the lake which is either crater or volanic. Water is croc, hippo and... More
