I stayed at Sitatunga Camp and had some of the best memories from my time in Africa. The staff and owners went out of their way to help with anything, they helped arrange an amazing trip into the Delta. The facilities were clean and there was a really great atmosphere throughout the camp. Yes the campsite was busy with overland... More

I have stayed in several places around Maun both as a guide with clients and as an independent traveller. I quite often do not have a choice where I stay due to differing contracts with overland companies but Sitatunga has always been my favourite. As an independent traveller it is my first and only choice. Great bar, excellent meals, comfortable... More

2.5 really--I couldn't decide 2 or 3 stars. We camped here for one night on our overland tour before going on a mokoro trip into the delta with Delta Rain (who runs the camp). I really did not like this camp. I think my dislike was mostly due to this being the fullest overlanding camp we had encountered to date... More

hi there, recently returned from a trip through Southern Africa. in Maun we stayed at Sitatunga Camp and found it very enjoyable. i can't understand some of the previous reviews as we found the owners, the managers and staff extra helpful. We did the mokoro trip and had a great time with the polers who guided us through the delta... More

We were a on a delta tour when my 63 year old father fell ill with a terrible case of malaria and completely passed out. The driver called the owner to get permission to take him to the hospital. The first call went through with no problem - she said she would call back. She didn't. Then there were repeated... More

This place was very comfortable and once again you had your choice of upgrades - either a cabin with no air conditioning or one with. The showers were plenty hot and the rooms plenty clean. There were no additional eating facilities, although there was a bar area set up. There had been a fire recently and the main restaurant had... More

Where to start? 1) We were told that there has been no wifi since a fire a few months ago. I found wifi in the office. When the owner saw me using my iPad he turned off the wifi for everyone until we left. Talk about spiting one's nose. 2) One of our group members had booked a horse trip,... More

We have been there with a group of people (11 people) and when we arrived the first problem was the number of cabins. My parents and I booked for a cabin with 3 beds but since they didn't have such cabin and they never bothered to inform us about it, two people previously reserved for a single cabin had to... More

The site is set up of campers. We were a group of 13 sleeping in the chalets. We also booked for dinner and lunch. The rooms were basic but one must book the rooms with the attached bath room and toilets since they have A/C as well. The other cabins are like a tent. The service was very poor, the... More

I was part of an overland tour and usually stayed in a tent, but the cost to upgrade into a cabin was quite reasonable, so I did. There were screens on the windows, but a space under the eaves, 1 foot wide and 8 feet long, let the mosquitoes in like crazy. I slept, rather tried to sleep under the... More
