I stayed here for a few nights with a lovely lady I met in Caracas. It was her idea to come here (I was paying) but this really is not a place for foreigners. I staid 3 nights there, for a good romantic trip. I was there with my husband and 3 teenagers. It was Carnaval, not the best time to visit Colonia Tovar as it gets awfully overcrowded, you simply can't walk around the town without bumping into people.
