I stayed in the Hotel Caracas Cumberland twice. This hotel was filthy. The carpets were so dirty I didn't want to remove my shoes. The staff was uncaring and unhelpful. Yes, the staff was busy most of the time but the rooms were quite nice and the area, for Caracas, was relatively safe.

The staff of the hotel ( reception & restaurant) is very rude and not willing to help. The rooms have never been renovated since they openend this hotel. Extremely dirty carpets, broken bathroom facilities and aircondition. The breakfast is unacceptable.

A good contribution would be if they close this place. Nothing runs there: The boring recepcion, bad (very) service, old rooms (even the baths), telephones...When you ask for some help, they give you the worst one(sometimes less useful, less rational, obvious solutions or the most expensive!) options. I never had been in a place like that.
