My wife and I stayed for an extended time at Burwash Landing Lodge the summer of 2012. It was truely a treat to experience the old flavour of Yukon past and to meet the super hosts Ollie and Helen. We had the time of our lives and were there to celebrate their 30th ann. of operating the lodge with a... More

Drop down by the waters edge for a great little taste of this northern paradise. The folks are incredibly hospitable and the food is pretty good too. After eating you can stroll along the lakes edge of take a ride in a helicopter where this rugged and remote territory will come alive and the awe of this sub arctic region... More

I have passed by this establishment numerous times on the way north or south. Finally decided to give it a try on the advice of a relative. Should not have. The one thing I can say about it is that the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food was good. However, the room was small. Could barely turn around.... More

We stayed here on the 2nd night of a 16 day cross country trip. The host, Matias (sp) was so helpful and made sure we had the best room available, overlooking the lake. Jonathan (sp) cooked an amazing dinner of beef shortribs that belonged in a 5 star restaurant. The room itself was extremely clean and had everything you needed.... More

Beautiful scenery but the town is dead and gone. A few people, one gas station, couldn't even hike around because of the no trespassing signs. Old and unupdated. Only 5 RV spots. $26.25 for electric and water. Dump station, not at sites. Has a few camp trailers set up and calls them cabins but I didn't look or inquire into... More

We stayed at the Burwash Landing Resort in August, 2010 for one night. The room was sufficient, clean, and quiet [felt like a hunting lodge]. The wi-fi worked great in the room. TV reception was OK; they received a couple of channels. We ate dinner and breakfast in their restaurant and both meals were okay. The Kluane Museum of Natural... More

Without reservations, travelling along spectacular Kluane Lake (in Kluane National Park) we three, two adult sons and mayself, ventured slightly off the Alaska Hwy to discover this rustic 50 -60 year old hotel by the lakeshore. We wanted to stay but the hotel was full. They kindly opened a small newer motel wing that has three or four units to... More
