We stopped by for Sunday lunch, a table for two. Very heavy rather tired looking furniture in an uninspiring room. We both had onion an gruyere cheese tart as a starter. Obviously not freshly made, very soggy pastry, no taste. My wife had roast beef and the meat was OK. I had roast pork which clearly had not just been... More

I stayed at the Manor for one night. I had previously stayed at it's sister hotel Peterstone Court and unfortunatley the Manor didn't really live up to my expectations. I had booked a Better Double room online and although there was no description of exactly what this meant on the website I was rather disappointed with what I got. The... More

My sister and I stayed in this hotel for three nights and while there were some positives such as the setting, we found several aspects disappointing. We had booked a twin bedded room and found the beds very narrow and uncomfortable. We had to ask for our room to be serviced three times before it was done in a VERY... More

My sisters and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. The rooms were large, clean and spacious. We used the swimming pool, sauna and steam room both evenings and also ate at the bistro hotel both nights. Lovely local food. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and provided assistance on walks. We chose to... More

First time stay in this hotel and was very impressed. Lots of character and charm, bedrooms tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It is in a very secluded spot so no disturbances at night. Picturesque setting, and certainly would be a great backdrop and venue for a wedding. However, it would also be a good choice for a quiet break. Didn't... More

I really enjoyed the ambience, views and fantastic customer service at this hotel. The food was also excellent, breakfast and evening meals. I would recommend this hotel and the area - sugar loaf mountain was great fun. Many thanks

Stayed for a wedding and was very impressed with the arrangements they made for the wedding service, the wedding breakfast and the evening function. It was professionally done and to a high standard. The icing on the cake (sorry!!) was the food at the wedding breakfast: it was of a higher standard than usual and served hot to over 80... More
