Stayed at Ty Croeso again September 2011. Even better than before, with the bonus of wonderful sunshine. Linda and Pavel made the five of us friends very comfortable, as in the past, by providing dinners as well as breakfasts. We would strongly advise staying here while you can; it is a gem of a place.

We stayed 2 nights a Ty Croeso, and couldn't fault it! Linda and Pavel were really lovely, helping us with walking and pointing us in the right direction on things! Our room was lovely...and the honesty bar and large sitting room is perfect. Breakfast and packed lunches were amazing! Would highly recommend, and very much hope to go back again!

Linda and Paval were extremely helpful and accommodating, there was a very 'homely' feel to the whole place, lovely lounge to relax in and a gorgeous breakfast of locally sourced produce. My 3 grown-up sons and I spent 3 days here and went walking in the Brecon Beacons. We had a very comfortable two night stay at this former workhouse just outside Crickhowell. The welcome is friendly without being overbearing, the location is excellent, particularly if you are walking on the canal and the rooms are generously sized.

We would stay here anytime. It is a fantastic location - for walking, cycling (along the canal path) or just enjoying a wonderful part of Wales - and a lovely hotel.
