This Bed and Breakfast is exceptional. Beautiful house, good room, lovely bed and linen, box-fresh bathroom, superb breakfast, Julian and Alison are welcoming. Could not have been better.

Alison and Julian are welcoming ,helpful hosts. Service was great. We stayed in the Sugar Loaf room which is a spacious ,comfortable and lovely room . Bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail could easily rival a good quality hotel and the friendliness of the hosts surpass it. Excellent location for the restaurants and the Bear pub... More

Lovely B&B. Comfortable rooms, very clean, good breakfast. Great location - could walk into town for something to eat/drink. Very helpful owners - only been open for a year - we wish them well.

Stayed here for two nights for a weekend break, Julian & Alison are wonderful hosts, service was faultless, the room beautiful and spotlessly clean, with a lovely en-suite. A hearty breakfast and the local pubs and restaurants only a stones throw away, even given a coupon when we mentioned which restaurant we were going to which gave us a ten... More

We stayed in the Pen Y Fan Room over 2 nights whilst walking and cycling in the area. The B&B is slap bang in the centre of Crickhowell with all local amenities on your doorstep - in fact we did not use our car throughout our stay. It is difficult to comprehend that Alison & Julian have only been open... More

We stayed in the Sugarloaf room over the Easter weekend and can't recommend this B&B enough. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable, whilst the rest of the building is beautiful and well located. Breakfast is delicious and to top it all off Alison and Julian are the perfect hosts. Julian recommended a great walk nearby and Alison makes... More

Torn between wanting to give Glan Y Dwr the lovely recommendation it deserves and say something terribly negative so that no one else ever books our gorgeous room 'Sugarloaf'... We loved the building (gracious and tastefully decorated), the atmosphere (utterly welcoming), the location (very central to Crickhowell, close to main road but perfectly soundproof inside) and the breakfasts (seemingly made... I booked this B&B as a result of other reviews on tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. We stayed for just one night (which was the only mistake). The room was delightful with everything you could possible want; lovely comfy bed and delicious breakfast. Well appointed for Crickhowell town with off road parking. Highly recomended and I would definitely return.

The quality of this establishment is superb. Each room is equipped to the highest standard. We chose the twin bedded room and were delighted to find little touches such as a cafetiere, not a sachet of instant coffee. The bedrooms and the guest rooms are beautifully decorated and much of the artwork is original, some done by well known local... More
