Family run hotel. Rooms are large and recently updated....but a few things look like they were done in a hurry...not a great finish. The hotel itself has a bar and restaurant. The food is good value and very tasty. The breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful. Would stay again if stopping in Builth Wales on way down to Cardiff.

We stayed at the lion with friends and family, The room was fantastic very clean the bed was lovely. The food was very good and home made and nothing was to much trouble. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. we all will definately stay there again.
