My husband and I recently spent three wonderfully relaxing days with Roger and Emma who made us really welcome. This place really is a home from home and the food was second to none! As keen walkers we adored the countryside and surrounding walks and would most definitely stay again.

Roger Stevens is a very good chef. We had booked to stay at the Lasswade for two nights but owing to oversight by the management our room was double booked, so we only stayed for one night. The welcome was satisfactory. My wife & I spent 4 nights at this establishment & were totally spoilt. The hospitality, bed linen, breakfasts & restaurant were well in excess of what you would expect. Remember that advert some years ago , 'the answer is yes, now what was is question' that is the standard of care you will receive.

When you turn off the trunk road through the village to find the Lasswade its a little slummy and you wonder if you have slipped up. YOU HAVEN'T.
