We used the Ferryboat Inn for one night as we were catching the morning Stena sailing. The reviews suggested it was a good option in the absence of any local lo-cost hotel options. We were very happy with our stay. We arrived late so no welcome but we were given the code for front door access and our key and... More

Ideally placed for the ferry to Ireland and although the restaurant was not open on the night we were there we managed a meal of sorts elsewhere. Breakfast was very good and you could do much worse. More

Dont give up when you cant find anyone at the hotel even after the 3 PM check-in time shown. Eventually you will find someone (or call the phone number). Room was very small but overall tastefully done. TV projects and is a head-banger. Food in the restaurant very good. Waitress was very good. More

We ended up at the Ferryboat Inn by accident: After we'd missed our 2:30pm ferry and realized we'd have to spend the night, several people recommended the Ferryboat Inn. Turned out they'd just had a cancellation for a "one-bedroom with extra bed," so we grabbed it. The man who checked us in was very friendly, and warned us that it... More

I stayed at the Ferryboat Inn prior to a trip to Ireland which entailed a late arrival (01:30). The hotel is clearly used to this, given the times of the Rosslare ferry, and text or email you a password for late arrivals. Just a word of warning about arriving late by foot - there are no streetlights, but the entry... More

The Ferryboat Inn is the perfect place to stay if you're taking the ferry. Great location just down the road from the auto rental and the ferry terminal. Michele was a gracious host and full of information about things to do and places to eat in Fishguard (we stayed on Sunday night when the restaurant is closed). The inn is... More

Stayed here for one night whilst walking the Pembrokeshire Coast footpath. We walked 14 miles to get to this place and it was luxury. Better than expected. Thought it would be a simple pub with some cramped and basic accommodation, but it really was a little bit of heaven. We were 'upgraded' to a double room (could originally only get... More

Went for my sister's birthday for a meal and was amazed at the quality of the food for a fraction of the price of some surrounding pubs and restaurants . Very friendly staff - the fish sharing platter was amazing, the batter and moistness of the fish second to none. I had Lobster pasta starter which was lovely, there was... More
