The rooms are not particularly special, but are very clean and comfortable, with nice bed linen, good service tray (buttery biscuits, peppermint tea, fresh coffee & cafetiere!), and nice toiletries in the en suite. The location, on the edge of town, means it is relatively quiet, especially once the traffic has down. The views are lovely, and the hosts are... More

stayed here for 2 nights, ran by husband and wife, very friendly people, room was very clean and our room had a great view on the front of the property. We were on the second floor, the only issue was the pressure of hot water in shower was very low. They offer free wifi which was a blessing as mobile... More

Working in a large hotels ourselves this was a fantastic intro to the world of B&B hotels as we have always stayed in hotels within our chain because of the discounts offered. Everything about the stay was right on the money from a warm welcome to a well balanced unobtrusive hospitality experience throughout (Which in the end is what we... More

We booked Lawrenny Lodge after reading Tripadvisor. We stayed for 4 nights and took our border collie with us. We were suprised to have a large sea-view room. The Lodge was a short distance to walk into Barmouth, and away from the noisy pub! They had a small bar serving bottled beers at reasonable prices. We loved the breakfast; each... More

Brilliant time from start to finish. lovely welcome , room with fantastic seaviews , a lovely comfy bed and a bathroom with huge soft towels. Lots of choice at breakfast where hubby had full english breakfast and toast whilst i chose cereals and fresh fruit salad. We decided to visit Barmouth as part of our 30th wedding anniversary and stayed for three days. When we arrived the welcome was really friendly and our room had a fantastic view across the estuary. We were recommended a great restaurant to spend our first evening (Barmo Bistro) and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and ambience of the place. Coming down... More

Although we were only staying one night, my friends & I were looking for a Welsh seaside, comfortable B&B. As it was out of season Barmouth was a central place to tour from with still some amenities open. My African friends had not seen the mountains and coast before so this had to be special. It was! We were overwhelmed... More

We found this lovely place on a website and we got lucky because they'd had a cancellation. What a fantastic wee lodge, the welcome was really friendly, the atmosphere fantastic and our room on the front overlooking the ocean was everything we hoped for. the rooms had been done up and the bathroom was one of the nicest we experienced.... A nice welcome from Adrian who helped us with our luggage, we were dissapointed to be stuck in a very small room in the back of the lodge with no view, the room itself was very small you could not swing a cat, the room was spotless and once we had put the heater on it was warm and cosy,... More
