Went there for a one night stay on a Saturday night. Staff were very welcoming. Shown to a double ensuite room with a view of the back area. There is a railway line that runs along the back of the hotel, however the trains are very infrequent and its a local line so the trains themselves are quiet with only one... When in the area was looking for a restuarant that we had not been to before. Discovered the leaflet in the B&B. As it was late in the evening was not sure what to expect, but we got great service from freindly staff as soon as we walked in. As they were closing shortly after we got there again not... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my father and some friends as we was up for some shooting on an estate a couple of miles away, and may I say what a cracking place,we was greeted by a charming lady on reception who showed us to our rooms, the rooms were of a good size, warm and comfortable... Cannot fault the Staff for their friendliness, however the Hotel itself requires totally refurbishing. The windows in the room which was on the first floor needed replacing, the whole room was very dated with red sheets on the, not very comfortable, bed, nothing matched and it all felt very uncared for. The outlook was to the side overlooking a flat... More

Very clean hotel with really comfortable beds. The owners are very kind as well as the women who is in charge of the breakfast, she is so nice. It is a family run hotel with WIFI access. Breakfast is very good, they make amazing omelettes, try them! You can also have porridge or full English Breakfast which are very good... More

We booked this room through LateRooms.com and were a bit shocked after a long drive to find out that the room we booked wasn't the room they were told by LateRooms to book for us. It cost us £15 more than we had expected and the man behind the counter was not very nice to the young guy I was... More

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding held close by. Family run hotel/ b&b which offered ok service. Rooms are a little dated but it can be seen that step by step improvements are being made to the rooms which you can appreciate at smaller non chain hotels. Cooked breakfast was good and free wireless internet is available in the hotel... More
