Arrived here after a winding journey from Isle of Skye. We were met by Mena and shown our room. Absolutely beautiful. Large room with a stunning view of the pond and garden. We stayed here 4 years ago, and were impressed by the quiet atmosphere and lovely gardens, plus good rooms and excellent service from hosts Mena and Robyn. We stayed there in late September 2004. The Dower House is an incredibly lovely family home in a little town near Inverness. When we arrived we were greeted by Mena, the owner. She showed us to our rooms. Our suite was large and well decorated with a beautiful view of the gardens. It included a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom.... more
