Stayed at 20 B&Bs en route from Lands End to John o'Groats by public transport. Standards overall were high. Riverview ranked strongly among them with good size room plus lounge, very good breakfast, comfortable and quiet, average price. Would stay there again and recommend to friends. More

Nadine was most welcoming on our arrival, the room was nicely furnished with plenty of toiletries and tea coffee biscuits etc. She advised on several places to eat and drink and was most apologetic that she was attending a wedding reception that evening and wouldn't be around. This is a lovely B&B. Well furnished and decorated rooms (we were given a choice) with nice touches and a very comfortable guest lounge. Nadine was a very welcoming, pleasant and helpful host. We have just completed a tour of Scotland from Glasgow to Fort William to Portree to Stornoway to Ullapool to Thurso to Inverness to Fife. We carefully selected our B&Bs from Trip Advisor and chose the best of the best. Afterwards we all agreed that the best B&B of our journey was at Riverview in Ullapool. More

We had a two day stay at this B&B and it exceeded our expectations. Neat big rooms with en-suite bathrooms, great host and superb breakfast. The host could double as an excellent tour guide and he advised us on the most beautifull places to visit in and around Ullapool. A definite go back establishment. More

Very comfortable accommodation on quiet road within 5 minutes walk of harbour. Breakfast menu would put most 5* hotels to shame. Quality of breakfast was as expected, 1st class. Made to feel welcomed and relaxed. Highly recommend. More
