Spent some time in Wigtown recently and can recommended the Ploughman Hotel.The hotel is an older building and the en-suite room was functional and clean and even had a mini-fridge,as well as TV and kettle.The powershower was excellent with hot water available at any time of the day.The food was very good too and also reasonably priced.The hosts and their family were friendly and customer-orientated with nothing being too much trouble.This is a small hotel which deserves to succeed as
the owners understand the true meaning of customer service and would certainly stay here again.Very reasonable price for the room too!
