The lodge is a warm and welcoming place. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best we've had. We had a wonderful chat in the cozy lounge with the owner who offered driving directions and had maps printed for us when we departed, which were very helpful. We made it to Peebles very easily thanks... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights as we were using Creag Mhor as a base to tour the western highlands. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this lovely old house. Our bedroom was lovely and the bed one of the most comfortable I slept in during our two week tour of Scotland so this is a really... More

Would stay again and recommend to others. Clean tidy great service. Friendly and informative. Lovely dining room. Good selection for breakfast. Views are outstanding. Excellent ambassadors for Scottish hospitality. Cosy lounge evokes a sense of old world charm. Free WiFi for those who need it but this charming old house should be enjoyed as an escape from the rat race

I was doing a cycling event at Glen Coe and stayed 2 nights (Fri, Sat) in April 2013 and had a great stay! The location is about 15-20 minutes drive from Glen Coe Mountain Resort (ski slopes access), where the event started. So very handy for this location. Also nearby is Ballachulish and Onich and Fort William is about 20... More

great hosts, spacious rooms and so on. We loved the style of the hotel. It oozes atmosphere of past times, high ceilings everywhere, thick carpets, comfy sofas and over 100 whiskys to sample in the lounge. The perfect place to unwind in a calm surroundingds and to forget the rate race you have left behind. Wonderful view across the loch... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the Creag Mhor Lodge at the end of March 2013. The guesthouse has a late check-in time which may not suit everyone but wasn't an issue for us. Great location. The place was busy so we had a room facing the back of the building, so no loch views but the... More

We stayed there for one night and thought it was a very nice little B&B in a well preserved period property. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the views from the room to be on a par with the best views anywhere in the world. Our room was lovely but it did not have adequate shelving... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Creag Mhor and would recommend it to fellow travellers. The staff were very friendly and helpful and happy to provide information on activities and walks we were interested in, as well as places to have our evening meals(Evelyn rang to book our table one night and made sure that the menu was home cooked)... Excellent accommodation and our room had a brilliant Loch view whilst the hospitality from the owners was second to none. The cosy lounge has a welcoming log fire to relax and wind down whilst enjoying one of there superb range of fine whisky. The breakfast was of the highest quality and the restaurant area was in keeping with the high... More
