The rooms were quite small but you have everything you need in them. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was one of the best I'd had on the trip, and the host was very friendly. Rooms and our things were very secure. Ballachulish is a lovely part of the world - I would come back here. more

Hosts were very pleasant and friendly, gave us tips on best routes to take on onward journey. They also offered to dry our wet clothes and boots after a soaking! We had two stop-overs here on our West Highland Way walk and felt very much at home. The house is beautiful and Catherine and David know how to make you feel at home. Transfer service, breakfast (I recommend the Kipper!) and the surroundings left us completely satisfied. In addition, Ballachulish is a beautiful place, not to speak of nearby Glencoe.... more

We recently stayed at Fern Villa Guest House, and snjoyed 2 great days Hospitality from Caztherine and David. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a good choise for breakfast, and the food was of a high standard. We will certainly stay here again when we next visit scotland. more

We were made to feel very welcome by Catherine and David. There were certainly no complaints about the accomodation. We appreciated David coming to pick us up from our stop on the West Highland Way and the guided tour back to our take off point. I would certainly recommend Fern Villa to friends. more
