We only stayed one night but so enjoyed Damson Cottage and the town of Lacock. Dilly was kind enough to drop us in town as my mother was too tired and cold to walk the ten minutes or so into town. Just got back from a mid week break in Damson Cottage. The location is incredible, had a wonderful view of the river and horses grazing from our bedroom window. Stayed 2 nights in December 2011 - a lovely find indeed. A warm and cosy B&B. James and Dilly were always ready to help with tips around Lacock. A delicious hearty English breakfast awaited us each morning - thank you Dilly!. Lola is very cute - our teens loved the company!

I stayed just one night, felt rested after a great night's sleep in this lovely village; loved the personal, friendly welcome - loved Lola and the great breakfast. Shame to leave...will be back with family, without a doubt!!
